With just a single note, you’ll be drawn into a world of love, loss, sadness and flights of happiness. Hear more, and you’ll be left speechless.
With her iridescent voice and intuitive ability to express emotion, Jenn Grant has made her way to the top of the Maritime music scene – a place famous for its fictional dreamers and real world songbirds. As a Juno nominated, Polaris Prize-listed and multiple East Coast Music Award-winning artist, Grant is not only one of Canada’s premier vocalists, but also a talented visual artist.
Her smoky, jazz-tinged music, nuanced with a folk sensibility, has been heard on Grey’s Anatomy, Mercy and Heartland.
Young Drunk Punk
Written & Performed by Bruce McCulloch
Some things never get old.
Sunday, November 2, 2014
A late addition, yet incredible standout hit in our 2013–2014 season, writer and director Bruce McCulloch returns to St. Albert to deliver his singular brand of dark humour and wit.
Combining stand-up comedy, music and assorted anecdotal insights in his one-man show, Young Drunk Punk, the Edmonton native chronicles his journey from being a cynical member of ‘Kids in the Hall’ to becoming a ‘pajama-clad dad’ living in the Hollywood Hills.
Young Drunk Punk will soon hit the television airwaves as a new comedy series, serving as “a redemptive example for high school graduates today, who are not certain of their future plans.”
Please note: This performance is intended for mature audiences and contains coarse language.
Letting the muse take control.

While it has taken a long time for Adam Cohen to find comfort in his own artistic space, the son of music poet and songwriter Leonard Cohen has come to terms with exactly who he is. His album Like A Man is sparse yet complex, sensuous and haunting, dark and beautiful – qualities that embrace his history and influences rather than fight them.
Adam Cohen’s acoustic collection of lovelorn melodies showcases his folk sensibility and song writing mastery that has allowed him to forge his own sound identity. The Montreal-born musician makes his Arden debut with his songs that are natural, eloquent and uninhibited.
